Aiding engineers in the advanced optimisation process
Design engineers spend hours on optimising the performance of products. They usually perform the product design and optimisation using 3D CAD (computer-aided design) software. However, the optimisation process is advanced and time-consuming and requires high-skilled engineers and purchase of expensive software solutions.
The Danish company Apiosoft has developed CorTime – a simple-to-use, less expensive optimisation engine. It enables engineers to save 50-75% of their time while improving product optimisation. The new solution will also limit the level of complexity, and by this allow less skilled engineers to carry out the task.
From identification to application
Before initiating the application process, we helped Apiosoft identify the most relevant funding opportunities for the company’s specific project. We then worked with Apiosoft to define the project activities and ultimately we wrote the successful application. The funding from Horizon2020 enables Apiosoft to carry out a feasibility study related to the commercial aspects of the solution.
