Horizon 2020 ICT

With the support from Horizon 2020 ICT companies, organisations and public bodies can perform international R&D projects supporting EU policy areas in information and communication technology. Grants are given to projects within the following categories: Technologies for Digitising European Industry, European Data Infrastructure: HPC, Big Data and Cloud technologies, 5G, Next Generation Internet (NGI), Support to Hubs and Cyber Security.

Innovation Fund Denmark

Innovation Fund Denmark provides grants for the development of knowledge and technology that lead to the strengthening of research and innovative solutions for growth and employment in Denmark. The fund supports large projects focusing on research, development and / or commercialization. It may be the development of a product, process or structure and development of research competencies. In 2018, Innovation Fund Denmark will invest more than €100M in projects within research, technology development, and innovation.

SME Instrument

The SME instrument offers excellent opportunities for SMEs to conduct R&D projects - alone or with partners.

Fast Track to Innovation

Fast Track to Innovation (FTI) aims to reduce the time from idea to market by supporting projects undertaking innovation from the demonstration stage through to market uptake. FTI is the only fully bottom-up measure in Horizon 2020 promoting close-to-market innovation activities and open to all types of participants. Industry participation is required.

Eurostars

With support from Eurostars companies can conduct international high-tech and knowledge intensive R&D projects with large market potential. Funding is offered for projects within all areas of technology. The coordinating entity must be an SME, which spends a minimum of 10% of turnover or personnel on R&D activities.

InnoBooster

InnoBooster is a funding programme within Innovation Fund Denmark. The programme invests in promising ideas from small and medium sized companies, start-ups and scientists.

Vinnova

Vinnova is Sweden’s innovation agency. Vinnova promotes sustainable growth by improving the conditions for innovation and by funding needs-driven research collaborations between companies, universities, research institutes and the public sector.

FFI - Trafiksäkerhet och automatiserade fordon

This programme will contribute to the long term vision of zero traffic related deaths, mainly by promoting the development of safer vehicles in a modern road infrastructure.

MUDP

The Environmental Technology Development Program (MUDP) supports the development of technologies, processes and/or services within environmental technology. MUDP supports projects within eight primary areas: Water, climate adjustment, circular economy and the reuse of resources in waste, cleaner air, less noise, fewer problematic chemicals, industrial environmental efforts, and ecological construction.

Mistra

Mistra plays an active part in meeting societal challenges by investing in the kind of research that helps bring about sustainable development of society. Every year, Mistra invests a sum of around SEK 200 million in various research initiatives to build bridges among academic disciplines, as well as between research, on the one hand, and companies, public agencies and other stakeholders on the other.

FFI - Hållbar produktion

The Swedish government has in cooperation with the automotive industry decided to grant 1 billion SEK in funding every year to research within innovation and development with emphasis on climate & environment and security issues. The reason for this effort is the enormous importance the Swedish automotive industry and infrastructure has to the growth of the Swedish economy. The programme Hållbar Produktionsteknik has the overall goal of contributing to the reduction of emission of fossil carbon dioxide and emission from vehicles and machines. The programme has a budget of 450 MSEK.

Nordic Innovation was established in order to help make Nordic businesses competitive and innovative. Nordic Innovations aims to generate increased value creation through cross-border co-operation. The goal to create partnerships between leading Nordic public and private sector institutions in the fields of trade and innovation.
